The organisers expect teams from more than 80 countries, from kids up to adults and Veterans. You can participate in Forms, light contact, point fighting, full contact, low kick, k-1 rules, Thai boxing and MMA.

International Austrian Open tournament in Forms, Semi contact, Light contact and K-1 rules.

This tournament is open for kids, juniors, women and men of all federations

In the past we had more than 850 fighter and 20 countries.

Vienna, Austria; WKF head office organise the annual World referee Seminarin next  March 2nd-4th.

After Lviv  2011 is Vienna now the next host, for 2013 the seminar will be held in Poland.

All WKF referees, who not has attended the last seminar in Lviv 2011, must extend their license in Vienna. The extended License is valid for three Years again .

Without licence is unexceptional no refereeing for WKF possible !

The transition period for licenses form other federations ends on February 29th.

Since October 1st we have a new manager in the board of directors.

German Georg MÜLLER is appointed as new World president for the WKF amateur division.

With immediate effect he is responsible for all belongings in the World wide WKF family for all amateur sport belongings. Tournaments, international team matches, World wide seminars, and much more.

Vienna, WKF Austria; on July 2nd in the amazing location in the Vienna Prater was once again a superb VIP Gala with excellent international fighters from Hungary, Slovakia, Ukraine and of course Austria.

Main fight was for the WKF World title in Thai Boxing – 72,30 Kg , scheduled  of 5 x 3 minutes rounds.

WKA European Champion and former Super league fighter Foad SADEGHI challenged Slovakian WKF Intercontinental Champion Lukas BODY for the World title.

The title bout starts from the beginning in the first round with high speed from both sites, Sadeghi hit Body with few nice low kicks. In the brake the Slovakian corner called the match doctor and called W.O. because of a serious muscle injury on the right arm. (Photo from 03.07.2011)

Of course, Sadeghi is a real Champion, so he was not happy with this situation, because he want to satisfy his own home town audience.

Now Foad is ready to beat any Chinese fighter at home, he is ready to defend this World title against anybody for a fair purse and conditions.

Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea; our WKF South Pacific director and WKF PNG president Mr. Stanley NANDEX has many activities in his area.

WKF PNG  -the Election of the Association was made with new people who joined the team.

The first event for this year from April was deferred to the 7^th -9^th May 2011.

We had two PNG title fights in Light weight and cruiserweights.

Alfred Samuel won the light title (60kg) while Timmy Unda won in the cruiser weight title (86kg). The event attracted more than 300 fighters from 9 provinces for the highlands regional championships in all divisions male/female age range from 10 years and over from all beginners Junior to seniors for all amateur fights.

The event was held up in the highlands province (Mt Hagen) of PNG with no indoor facility however we manage to run it on the open air for four days event with having 3x boxing rings.

This event was part of identifying talents from the rural part of the highlands who performed very well with no major injuries occurred. Part of  our program is to develop and educate young men and women to address social issues such grugs, alcohol with a positive awareness. The Government of PNG is very support of such initiatives and we are trying to blend the awareness program through our event.

Our next event is set for Mendi again in Southern Highlands Province of PNG in September 16^th 2011 which will be an international event which we will enounced for title fights. Our National championships will be in Mandag, Madang Province  together with few title fights as an main event. With this event it is part of the preparation or to build up  for the world championships which we have already finalize a team to participate in the WKF events worldwide defends on the sponsorship.

Mr. Nandex has a good number of fighters whom he like to give them an opportunity to fight in any WKF title fights. If you want to contact Stanley send just a mail with your request.

Sarreguemines, France; French girl Marjorie LOCK challenged German European Champion Caudia SCHEMMER (Fightclub Freiburg) for the vacant ladies World title in Full contact – 55 Kg.

After a hard bout of 10 rounds the point judge scored the fight 2:1 for Claudia. Her coach and husband was more than happy about his new World Champion and the belt.
